Ipon

Ipon is the main planet, home to all mortal species in the universe. The name of Ipon comes from the roots of the ground suffix, Ip. Ipon is the resting place of the Great Goddess and Old Goddess is of Ipola. Ipon is a smaller planet, orbiting around Ocayl. Much of the heat and light comes from the sun(Ocayl), though the core of Ipon is made of different magical metals, all burning hot, the core reaching a temperature 10,000 degrees fahrenheit. Coclionian Mages use metals found within the core layers of Ipon for casting spells, the power coming from the Old Goddess Ipola. Ipon has a diameter of around 10,000 miles, a moderate size in comparison to the other planets. Ipon is the fourth planet from the sun, just close enough to be too cold for living creatures, placed by the Old Gods to house life.

Geography

Ipon is almost 50 percent water, the continents on it all surrounded by water, but are each very large. Ipon holds 5 "continents" though 2 of the continents(Usterent and Kalion) are made up of collections of smaller islands. The land have all forms of geography from rivers, lakes, and fjords to mountains, valleys, volcanoes, and forests. The floor of the ocean has caverns, volcanoes, crevices, mountains, and such. The core of Ipon is made up of a variety of metals and rocks, each imbued with magic.

Fauna & Flora

Ipon is home to every species in the universe. Mortals of all forms, and plants of many variants can be found on the surface and in the ocean. Humans, Faeries, Will-o-wisps, Old Flowers and many more can be found on Ipon, the species all living together in different forms of harmony and symbiotic closeness.

Natural Resources

The natural resources on Ipon are near limitless. Old Crystals can be found, many types of wood, flowers and water are scattered all over the land. Minerals, metals, and precious rocks are on and below the main surface of Ipon. Humans, Faeries and other species all survive from the materials on Ipon. Each resource is harvested and used often by the mortal, intelligent, species of Ipon.

Magic

The metals on Ipon are used by Coclionian Mages for casting. The metals, and much of the underground on Ipon, is flowing with magic produced by Ipola. The metals, molten and solid, are used to be formed into small rods imbued with the power to funnel magic from Ipola and Ipon. This power is really only found in Coclio, and Kalion, as all other places on Ipon use different forms of magic.
