Ocayl
Ocayl, though not a planet, is referred to as the Sun. The name of Ocayl comes from the derivation of Oc, the prefix of light. Ocayl is the resting place of the Old God Ocamo. It is a sun, and thus made of pure gasses that are generating light and heat. As a large star, it can be seen during the day and provides light and heat to Ipon. Ocayl, as a resting place of an Old God, is capable of giving power to Usterian Mages. Ocayl is the largest of the Old Gods' resting places with a diameter of nearly 1,000,000 miles. Ocayl is located at the center of the Solar System.
Geography
As a sun, it is impossible to reach. There is, thus, no conclusive information on the geography. What can be observed is that it is made of a gaseous substance and is a perfect circle. The surface of the sun is thought to be nearly 20,000 degrees in fahrenheit, which pales in comparison to the surface temperatures of 30,000 degrees fahrenheit on Le_____(planet) and 25,000 fahrenheit degrees on El_____(planet). It is also considered the brightest star in the universe.
Natural Resources
No natural resources are ever found, as it is made of gaseous substances. As well, the mortals living on Ipon are yet to be able to get any farther than the moon. The Sun, however, would be capable of generating such great amounts of magic that a mortal Mage from Usterent would be capable of surviving in space and reconstructing the entire solar system. Ocayl also is generating heat and light, which are powerfully used on Ipon by the mortals.
Magic
Ocayl is the physical manifestation of one of the Greater Gods of the Old Gods. Now resting along with all of the other gods, Ocayl does generate magic at a emense scale. This power is what allows the mortals on Ipon to cast Glamours and transform the world with skill. This power is only harnessed in Usterent and Kalion, as the other three continents have their own forms of magic.Religious Belief
