Zelenian Orcs

The Zelenians are an uncommon orcish ethnicity renowned as the warfare orcs, the orcs who choose to improve themselfes, the ones that want to conquer and life lavish lifes as the results of plundering other races and dominate the fields with their armies and powers as well as their mages.

Appearance

The Zelenians are a calculated and cold people with handsome features and militaristic attitudes. They have darker hair, usually Black or Brown, while their skin tone ranged from olive green to saturated leave greens. They were also known for having prominent Eyes and Ears. Furthermore, they are known for their clothing style that is all about armor and imposing military might to other orcs and mortals.

History

The origin of the Zelenians lies in Legend. An unknown party, possibly the long-lost cult of the devil dormarlings, created the Zelenian by enhancing the pathetic goblins, giving them greater size, stamina, and mental faculties through the use of a powerful artifact for one purpose only "war against their hated enemies, the elves". The newly-created Zelenian orcs were imbued with an inherent hatred of elves and were built up into vast armies by their creators. Before the Zelenian orcs could be unleashed, a band of elven adventurers stole the unkown artifact giving them life, freeing the Zelenians from their masters' control, but still possessed of their consuming hatred of elvenkind. After a series of devastating wars in which the young, inexperienced race of Zelenian Orcs was decimated by the ancient elven empires, the Zelenians were forced into a state of squalor from which they have still yet to rise.

Culture

Due to the Zelenians evolution, they favor temperate hills for their territory. Their settlements, referred to in military terms like "companies", "regiments", "divisions", "armies", or "hordes", are ruled by a single general, who commands numerous ranking officers with their own subordinates, so on down to the grunts and laborers who make up the majority of the tribe. A hobgoblin general can control vast swaths of territory under this system.
More so than any other orcish race, Zelenians combine a keen intellect with a warlike spirit. Though strictly militant, Zelenians can be remarkably clever in matters of engineering and alchemy, though these skills are always directed towards the battlefield. Paradoxically, though organized and confident during war, an individual Zelenian tends to be paranoid and deceitful in nature. This aggression is honed through years of training in childhood.
