Timendi
The Timendi is the name given to the group of the former military commanders and necromancers who supported the Arch-Lich Nefastius in his quest for immortality. Rewarded for their loyality with undeath, the Timendi serve Nefastius and his empire of the undead as provincial magistrates. With the retreat of Nefastius from the mundane affairs of his empire, he left who possesses the authority to govern his realm as his deputy an open question. While nominally still acknowledging the supremacy of Nefastius' rule as Rexan Emperor, the Timendi now fight among themselves for the right to claim imperium as regent. As such, the former provinces of the Rexan Empire now operate as autonomous duchies that often war openly with one another for control of more territory.
Structure
Nine individuals are recognized as composing the Timendi: Arch-Necromancer Shaxor the Black, Arch-Inquisitrix Nioria Glyca, Arch-Priest Idrazius Naxremis, Duke Maxentius Bardanes, Duke Rexanus Kurkuas, Duke Alexius Zonaras, Duke Opilio Kerularios, Duke Ancius Lascaris, and Duke Francio Rhagabe.
