Zaz Iz was warrior born into the Red Stripe tribe of the Wem nation. Sometime during the month of Ikatrus in 114 PR, he lead a small warband into the abandoned ruins of the Shrine of Naeia Aeriscae in hopes of occupying the complex to use as a base for launching raids on the villages that dot the coast of Labrax Bay.
Taller and stronger than the majority of his broodmates, Zaz quickly rose to a place of prominence in his tribe, earning a reputation as a fiercesome warrior and successful brigand.
He fell in combat on the 27th of Ikatrus, 114 PR, when in the midsts of being entertained by two of his concubines, he heard a cry of alarm from a group of his scouts who had sighted a party of adventurers in the service of the Ouranic Church. Rushing forth from his quarters to investigate, he and his concubines came face to face with the moshi Zhuge Liang, Brother Theophilus, and the Shagoran sisters, Amma and Elissa bas Sisa, who were cautiously descending down a flight of stairs. A vicious melee occured on the stairwell with Zaz greviously wounding both Brother Theophilus and Amma before he was slain by several bolts of electricity invoked by Zhuge Liang.
