Granted Familiar

History

Over thousands of years, Elders have been exploring the relationship between mortal beings and Spirits. Relatively recently - around the year 6268 - an Elder discovered that they could artificially create familiars that could then be 'granted' to other mortals.

Execution

Receiving a granted familiar from an Elder is a sign of incredible respect, and is very rarely done due to the energy and time it takes for them to create a familiar. Local spirits must also be present in order to transfer a soul from their realm into the Fractured Realm.
