Requirements
The President must be voted in via a democratic process. Exact methods vary by country.
Appointment
Presidents are seen as less spiritual than monarchs, but are still required to have a favourable relationship with the Spirit Realm. They are appointed by an Elder once they have received a popular vote.
Benefits
Good pay and provided housing.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
The President is usually removed when an opponent wins, but they can also be removed for other reasons, such as if the spirits protest.
