The Legion of Creed

The Legion of Creed is an order of warriors located on the island of Solstia, who worship and emulate an ancient warrior by the name of Creed. Creed was gifted secret knowledge by a called Source Dragon Gyolax The Many Coloured, who was said to carry with him every element and roam independently of an island. Creed swore an oath to Gyolax that he would keep the skies free of any trace of the Nul, and founded his order of warriors so that his quest would outlive him. Creed is a warrior spoken of across the skies in legend, both as a great warrior who saved many from terrible flying void-beasts that threatened the early skies, and figure of mystery.
Warriors sworn into the legion are given helmets and armour made out of a rare dragon-touched metal that allows them to resist the power of the nul. The helmets also hide their identities, and members of the Legion never remove their helmets, for to do so is considered a grave crime against their order. All members of the Legion carry the name "Creed" in honour of their founder.
Members of the creed are considered some of the greatest warriors in the skies, and occasionally are hired out as mercenaries. Their main mission, however, remains purifying the skies of all traces of the undead and void-touched beasts. Despite this, Nul touched are not allowed in their ranks, so long as they stand against the dangers represented by their attunement.
Members are either adopted into the order as children, or else inducted at birth.

"We are not born, we are forged. We know what's coming, and when it arrives, we will be ready."

The legion holds that one day a great conflict will occur, in which the Skies will be beset by all of the horrors of the surface below. Until such a time, they do their best to clear the Skies of the monstrosities that already lurk in the shadows; which they view as the forward troops of the enemy.
