The Scarlet Mug

The Scarlet Mug is a tavern, but it serves more of a family pub for the community rather than a rowdy bar that exist in larger towns. Scholars and commoners a like gather at The Scarlet Mug at the end of each day to relax, have a hot meal, a drink, and enjoy each other's company.

Purpose / Function

The Scarlet Mug is the watering hole of the The Scarlet Temple. The a members of the community gather here in the evenings to drink and relax for a hard days research.

Architecture

It is build of old stone and hard wood. There is a fire place and several tables in the room for the guests.

History

The tavern itself was built in The Old Temple Complex which was the orginal site of The Scarlet Temple. The temple grounds have since greatly expanded since that time. The tavern area was used as the main library orginally, but has been rennovated to serve as the local Tavern. Upstairs is the quarters of the head master.
