Age of Enlightenment
The Age of Enlightenment is regarded by historians to have begun circa 941AC and to persist to the present day. It is typified by rapid technological, philosophical, and cultural growth. It is generally agreed that there was no large catalyst for the era, but rather the coinciding of certain smaller events, such as the publication of important texts, the beginnings of research, and the first steps of key social initiatives.
