Ankrthorth (AHN-kerr-THORTH)

The Ankrthorth are one of two distinctive ethnic groups of Seyis-Gol; after the Abandferir permanently settled in the Accatren valley and ultimately melded with immigrants there, the Ankrthorth, however, remained separate to the present day. They occupy the highlands and plateau-tops of the Godrest Highlands, and use the gorges for their hunting grounds.
Despite a common regional dialect, the Abandferir and Ankrthorth were frequently at odds: the Ankrthorth considered the Abandferir weaker and 'soft' due to their preference for more permanent settlements, while the Abandferir considered the Ankrthorth to be animalistic and immoral due to their more nomadic hunter-gatherer lifestyle and brutal behavior.
