Blessingbloom

Blessingblooms are a common annual meadow flower throughout Icalar, especially recognizable by their glossy, bright blue flowers that hang bell-like from long, thin stems, one apiece. These stalks sprout from flat crowns of tessellated round green leaves, and tend to grow in clusters.   They are so-called for the children's game of using a flower stalk to tap someone on the head while they think of a wish, thereby 'blessing' it.   The flower features in Akasien Ttarvek's war poem "A Respite at the Temple", with the Temple in question being the Temple at Willowbreak Field.
