Akasien Ttarvek (Ah-CASE-SEE-enn T'TARR-veck)
Akasien Ttarvek was a scholar and poet hailing from Seyis-Gol, who chose to leave the relative safety of the neutral country during the War of the Six and travel extensively through the various theaters during the conflict to 'observe and record'. Although their allegiance was often questioned and their life endangered equally as often as a result of their nomadic lifestyle, Ttarvek managed one of the most significant and comprehensive bodies of literature pertaining to the war before their death from the Bitter Hand some years after it ended. Their work is only recently coming to light and has yet to be placed in a formal collection, but among slowly-stirring literary circles the body of work is loosely referred to as "the Ttarvek War Poems".
They are a direct descendent of Teshi Ttarvek, the author-editor of Voices for the Dead: A Collection of Icalaran Funereal Music and Song.
