Glory

A Glory is the highest-status religious building in the Order of the Burning Crown, and is overseen by a Hand. Their presence in especially large communities is typically recognized as a benchmark for distinguishing between a town and a city. It is rare that a Temple and a Glory coexist in a community; a Glory and satellite Cloisters are more common. Often a Glory is built on a site of spiritual significance as determined by a Herald.    While a Glory offers public services and may sponsor outreach programs, it typically serves a more ceremonial use and instead delegates more everyday duties to Cloisters.
