Mistspeaker

Mistspeakers are shamans dedicated to healing, maintaining spiritual balance within the community, and reverence of the water cycle (much in the same way as Sehndists). They are unique to Seyis-Gol, and collectively referred to as the Cradle of Mists. They are also often employed in divination and blessings.

Qualifications

One can only be given the title of Mistspeaker by one's mentor, and likewise one's qualification is judged by one's mentor and may differ given another mentor. There is no written list of qualifications or required achievements, but the general assumption is that the mentor must judge the student's character, commitment to their purpose, and ability to serve their community.

Demographics

The sparseness of Seyis-Gol's population and the isolation of its communities means that regardless of the size of the community, there is rarely more than one Elder Mistspeaker there. They typically only have between one and three students.
