Sweetwater

Sweetwater is a common prepared, mild-tasting beverage usually taken medicinally, but also occasionally offered in place of regular water in formal meals (or given instead of water to a particularly important guest). It has a somewhat sweet, crisp taste with an herbal aftertaste, and is served at room temperature or chilled if possible.   It is made with potable water, grinidar cane sap, sal, and a small amount of infused herbs (typically aesrove and wadaloush among others). In this manner it acts similarly to a saline solution or herbal tea.

Manufacturing process

Usually made fresh and 'to order' to keep the mild taste.
