Toadcloud Mushroom

The toadcloud mushroom (or simply 'toadcloud') is a fairly common woodland mushroom found mostly in upper Unenshuut, Seyis-Gol, and the Dohest Valley of Iyr.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Closely-packed clusters of two to five individual mushrooms produce cloud-like bodies with no underside. Clusters tend to sprout sequentially from a treeline into a clear area, with those in clearer areas being larger and softer and those in more shade being smaller and denser.

Biological Traits

The surface is a pale, mottled green and taupe with brown bumps like the skin of a toad. It is dry to the touch. Its inner flesh is white, which browns after prolonged exposure to air.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
