Blorgons exhibit a lithe and graceful form that compliments their profound intellectual capacities. Their extremely analytical minds and high intelligence foster an aloof demeanour that often leaves a reputation of arrogance. These attributes have propelled them to become leading figures in the realm of scientific inquiry and technological discovery. Blorgon technology, often shrouded in secrecy, is held in high regard due to its exceptional superiority in comparison to other galactic advancements.
Uniquely adapted to their carbon-rich homeworld's atmosphere, Blorgons are one of the few non-oxygen-dependent races among the stars. To survive outside Kyln V, most Blorgons require specialized filtration helmets, which filter and store large quantities of carbon dioxide in breathing apparatus. These helmets allow Blorgons to navigate environments with differing atmospheric compositions. However, the removal of this helmet would lead to rapid lung corrosion and near-instant death due to their susceptibility.
History:
Having ratified the United Coalition accords two centuries prior, the Blorgons have solidified their role as permanent members within the interstellar union. Many distinguished Blorgons have held the esteemed position of Grand Overseer for the United Coalition on numerous occasions.
Blorgons are integral to a variety of roles across the Coalition, commonly serving as bookkeepers, scientists, and researchers. Their intuitive nature and remarkable memory capacity, rivalled only by several other species, make them indispensable assets in research and administrative capacities. The United Coalition, in particular, enlists thousands of Blorgons to bolster their bureaucratic efforts, ensuring they possess cutting-edge weaponry and an efficient administrative framework.
Society:
Blorgon society is characterized by its hyper-conformity and commitment scientific practices. However, this structured ethos has also given rise to rogue or exiled Blorgons who have veered from the path of societal norms. Disillusioned or unfulfilled ambitions have led some to partake in less reputable activities. This includes involvement in criminal enterprises such as drug production, illicit experiments on life forms, prostitution, and other unlawful pursuits. These outliers contrast starkly with the majority of Blorgons who contribute significantly to the betterment of the galaxy.
