Princess Chi-Ro is the third child of King Chi-Toth, ruler of Athraxal. On her world, she was known as the ''Shining Hope'' for her natural ability to lift the spirits of her subjects through song and dance during the planets intense civil war. A naïve but high-spirited girl who could bring joy to all in those dark years, Chi-Ro wanted nothing more than for the once peaceful Athraxal to return to its glorious form. However, when the war seemed doomed, and his calls for aid went unanswered, the king made the fateful decision to request the financial and military assistance of Urgo. A move, vehemently opposed by the council and even his own sons, but as the rebels closed in on the capital at staggering speed and faced with little choice and even less time, the decision went ahead. Within a fortnight, Urgo's mercs and private military corps put down the insurrection with ease, at last it seemed the worst was behind Athraxal, or so they thought. With the planet in ruin and the government's treasury empty, the King had little he could pay back the crime lord with, at least for some time. That is when Urgo demanded the beautiful Princess be taken as a hostage until Chi-Toth could repay back what he owed. With little say, Chi-Ro was whisked away from her world, carted off to Urgo's palace of hedonism as her naïve mind bore witness to the depravities of the galaxy, made to satiate her new masters' lusts in whatever way he saw fit. Her first year was the hardest, kept at Urgo's side day and night while he slaked his lusts upon her, Chi-Ro's spirit slowly began to take new form, her usual defiance soon turned to acceptance as her mind adjusted to her new life. While still dreaming of rescue by her father, Chi-Ro has embrace her new role as a slave, hoping that playing along would make her days inside this palace would go by faster. At night however, when she is alone, the Princess gazes out into the stars, trying her best to remember her homeworld, a place full of song and dance, uncorrupted and untainted, a stark contrast to what she had become herself.
