Avocados

There are a variety of Avocados growing throughout The Gates which can be harvested and utilized for their various nutritional benefits. Their insides greatly resemble the usual avocado flesh one would expect to find on the material plane, though their skin is different depending on the specific species and different benefits may be discovered as well. Some avocados may also have pits made of different materials.

Dragonscale Avocados (Agavecados) - The Spiritual Travelers first encountered one such avocado tree on the night of Nurend 05, 308 near their camp by the creek.

They utilized these avocados for their evening breakfast after a nice nap following the events surrounding The Spirit of Christmas. The tree was spotted by Agave while out looking for some plants with DAN for their meal.
These avocados had a skin made of very hard scales resembling a dragons which took great precision, perseverance and a very sharp knife to get through. Lacking these things, they were instead split open with a creative juggling act put on by DAN. They managed to split one open by having it land on the pointy end of one of their warpicks after discovering a weak point near where it was connected to the tree. When used in their meal, the Spiritual Travelers gained some amount of fortitude which manifested, mechanically speaking, as advantage on Constitution saving throws.
