Coffee Trees
Coffee Trees are a type of Plant found in Tympi's Forest.
Much like on the material plane, one could find coffea trees which bear fruit and, within this fruit, they could find coffee "beans". However, unlike the material plane, one could also find "coffee trees" which have much larger "pods" full of ready-to-drink coffee.
Agave collected one of the pods while out scouting for further study by the group's botanist, DAN Wildcloak, on Nurend 04, 308 during the Spiritual Traveler's first venture into Tympi's Forest.
Nurend 08, 308 - DAN managed to find slightly different pods. These pods were softer than the first bit of coffee found back on day one, and cutting them open to enjoy the delicious bitter liquid inside revealed a new discovery. The liquid inside was thicker, it had a very mild sweet smell to it which reminded one of a bitter chocolate, and suspended inside the viscous, dark fluid were small fruits which resembled cherries. Their flesh was …odd tasting to say the least, but splitting them open revealed the familiar site of coffee beans. Taking these beans, DAN was able to combine their uniquely bittersweet smell profile with a delightful cinnamon-like reed growing near the river. This reed had a very mild cinnamon flavor with an earthy undertaste. Roasting the beans with the cinnamon-like plant, grinding them together and brewing it DAN was able to create an incredibly unique cup of coffee with a flavor that constantly evolved from the usual bitter, into a very mildly sweet chocolate that complimented the coffee perfectly, joined with the undertaste of earthy cinnamon and spice, and ending with just a smooth and robust aftertaste.

Basic Information
Anatomy
Coffee Trees are bush-like trees which are often not much taller than they are wide. They don't grow larger than 9 feet and have an average height of around 7-8 feet. The foliage usually grows upward and splays out and down around the trunk resulting in a flowing, fountain-like effect. This causes the tree to be wider than is really necessary and can be up to 6 feet wide, with an average width of about 4.5-5 feet.
These trees grow large seedpods which closely resemble almonds in shape. Each pod is about 7 inches long, 2 inches tall, and 4 inches wide. Over time some of these pods' seeds boil and liquify through supernatural means to become delicious coffee which can either be enjoyed cold or heated over a campfire. Each pod holds about 8 to 10 ounces of coffee.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
Coffee Trees are some of the most widely utilized trees in Tympi's Forest. Their pods are frequently harvested to either enjoy the premade coffee within or their berries are harvested to make fresh coffee in the regular way from coffee beans. Either method produces similarly tasting, delicious coffee.
It is unclear why the process of coffee generating occurs in these pods. It does not benefit the tree in anyway besides perhaps luring new creatures to discover and spread its usable seeds. Alternatively, some hypothesize some ancient creature may have enchanted the trees and their offspring so that it could have some readily available caffeine for those long nights.
