Creeping Death

Creeping Death is a plant that can be encountered in Pluarsh ec Relovut and other swamps, marshes and forests of the Spirit World. It was first encountered by the Spiritual Travelers on Nurend 16, 308 while they were traveling to The Night City of Dorchar.
Creeping Death has the appearance of ordinary moss. However, once it is disturbed it can instantly cover the body of whatever animal has disrupted its slow growth over the landscape. When it covers a creature it can, potentially, cause that creature to die instantly with a much higher chance of inflicting some amount of paralysis and necrosis.
When the Spiritual Travelers first noticed it during their journey through the swamp, they saw it growing over different objects, bones, trees, rocks and so on, anywhere not completely flooded had a layer of the moss. Hysteria went to investigate a chest covered in this moss, and after some skeptical investigation ended up accidentally becoming covered in Creeping Death. They were paralyzed, unconscious, and probably suffering to some degree until they were rescued by the combined efforts of Namina and NAD.
