Kaldau 12, 258: Simol's Village
I spent a day by the lake, camped that night. I can't believe she's gone. Everyone I meet here. Hmph...
Anyways, the following day I headed back southwest and eventually found a small village. It was the first actual, like, buildings...y'know. It's the only actual, traditional, village I've seen. Unfortunately, it's full of hags...
The leader of the hag-filled village introduced herself to me as Simol while she squeezed my arms and cheeks not too unlike a grandmother. They all offered me food, shelter, gifts and toys for me to play with. I declined, worried I'd lose even more time...
They seem generous...though I am uncertain if trusting a collection of hags is truly wise. Maybe I'll spend a bit of time here. Study, learn about them.
From initial observations, they all look and sound very similar and are reminiscent of the hags from my folklore I a was read a before the gate I. Strange...did I write that? Some of the words are not my own.
They all have such hideo--no, lovely gardens. I think I'll sample their delicious looking food.
There are soem drawings and notes on the opposite page.
A drawing of some strange toad like creature with the note
"Toads? Something worse? They rarely move and look like stone, but they can move quickly if you get too close."
Drawings of a hand a face
"Their gardens are full of some humanoid remains....They've been trying to fed me this stuff. Hearts, fingers, tongues."
A drawing of some fruit can be seen.
"I'm so hungry. So, so hungry. Maybe just a bite?
Partake of the fruit, it's great!
NO! I didn't write that!"
