Uisge

Uisge is a type of Weather Spirit which was first discovered by the Spiritual Travelers in Pluarsh ec Relovut during a heavy rainstorm.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The rain spirit Uisge has the appearance of several different sized amorphous blobs of water that have collected from the rainfall and are floating several feet above the ground. The Uisge encountered by the Spiritual Travelers on Nurend 16, 308 ranged in size between 10 inches to about 20 feet in diameter. The "main bubble" of water grew to over 30 feet in diameter over the course of the interaction.   These blobs have the properties of water as evidenced by Hysteria's arrow passing directly through it along with Kaswink's tea getting stuck. This water can be launched in the form of pellets at immense speeds capable of dealing damage to threats. Additionally, while an Uisge is nearby, it alters the aural experience of nearby creatures making them feel like they are underwater. When agitated, this water becomes a violent torrent that is capable of deafening them.   The form of Uisge changes slightly when agitated either by magic or some other violent threat. While agitated, its form shakes, churns, back and forth at faster and faster speeds. Additionally, a glowing ring the size of the largest blob appears behind it and begins rotating slowly though picking up speeds the angrier it gets.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Uisge is capable of sensing both the location that magical events are occurring along with the source of the magic or spellcaster. It appears to have a great disdain for any magic as evidence by it becoming quite angry towards Agave after he used an innocent spell to create the sound of a coyote nearby. After this spell was cast, Uisge investigated both the coyote noise and Agave's location.
