Vine Wolf, Unblinking Sein, Fjarverand
Vine Wolf (Vine Beasts)
Any sort of beast could be afflicted by these vines, though the one I encountered was a Vine-Wolf.
It can catch and restrain prey with the vines growing from its moss-and-fur-covered body.
It slept upside-down in Tympi's Forest...I should try it sometime.
Unblinking Sein I only ever saw the head, part of the body, but no method of transportation. I didn't stick around long enough to see what happened to Tympi. A long snout, a tongue that is long, thin and undulating, too many eyes, noses, and mouths along its form… and an absence of legs, arms or any other means of locomotion. It’s possible it does have arms and legs somewhere, but when you gaze upon it they can’t be seen anywhere as all that is ever in view is its strange head and the upper-front portion of its torso. Its presence seems to cause fear in the hearts of most travelers, and the constant thought of “I will die here.” forcibly fills the heads of all that see it. Seen by the writer on Nurend 12, 258
Fjarverand It showed up
No one else was there
They all left me
all alone A monstrous creature with the body, legs and hooves of a bison with long, matted hair. The fur towards the top of its back is either a different color or so matted with filth it appears to be a much darker color. Its face is mostly a long, gharial-like snout. When it appears you can only ever see one of its eyes though it is always visible regardless of what angle you’re looking at it from. The most immediately noticeable trait of Fjarverand is the stench it emits. The sour, pungent combination of filth, waste, and rotten food causes almost immediate nausea.
