La Famiglia Shersk

The Shersk family is a bloodline of renowned Chondathan merchants, the current family head is Cesare Shersk, founder of 'Le Azienda Shersk' a highly successful mercantile company operating over large parts of Faerun offering long-distance trade in a variety of goods, but primarily spices, however, the company's ties to The Free Cities of The Vilhon Reach, and allegations that the company has stakes in the slave trade have cropped up every few years or so, despite the shrewd patriarch's hopes to stamp out such rumors before they gain traction.
The family has not been ennobled, however, theirs is a name that carries weight and respect even so far away from their origins as Waterdeep, as much is clear considering the appointment of the Shersk family patriarch as Chondath's ambassador in the Sword Coast. The Shersk family owns a well-appointed villa in the North Ward of Waterdeep, and maintains a modest household guard and staff.
