Fury of Peace

We know by which we tread
We know by the threat of the world around us
To understand is to fight
To understand is to survive in spite of all


While we know that the aspect of war is unappealing
We understand the values on which we live
That the world unknown may not be kind
That kindness may be rare

To protect our peace
Is to know that our peace is here
To accept that the truth is but fact
A peace is to be defended with all our fury
