The Cursed Caverns

The caverns were originally a mining operation by the noble houses of Zud Gekis, but they were abandoned when proven unprofitable. In the years following it was made home by a group of merfolk. After Odro Indi declared his quest for revenge against the nobles, he took over the caverns. Leaving his imp behind to protect the focus, the cavern cursed each ship leaving up and down the river. Each boat caught flame, killing most, if not all, the crew.

in 152 The Theran Company investigated the caverns and discovered a magical artifact that was burning the ships. They destroyed the magic and restored trade to the town they call home. Before leaving the saw a vision of Odro Indi in flames, demanding that they not interfere gain.
