The Lake of Tears
This is a large lake that sits in the heart of the Dark Wood. Its waters were once said to radiate divine energy, since Elm was ascended at its shoreline.
Each quarter of the Dark Wood touches its shoreline, and it is the source of life for many animals and spirits. Towards the centre of the Lake was an Island, no one ever travelled to it or left it in all the time it had sat there, an eerie fog hanging over it. Just before the cataclysm the isle disappeared entirely.
