The God Elm Ascends to the Heavens

At great sacrifice to the Malkon, on the shores of the Lake of Tears, Elm ascended back to the heavens. Both General Kano and Lady Ember, Keeper of the Trees, gave their lives to aid in the rising. It was a bitter sweet ascension with these losses. Around the lake the plants grew to grand proportions, the flowers bloomed a little brighter and thorns a little sharper, as the God of the Dark Wood re-joined his realm.
