The Ashram of Starlight

Hidden in the safety of The Koza Isles, a particularly unusual order of monks quietly worships the goddess Sinti in the pursuit of hidden knowledge. Their worship would not be deemed as particularly dangerous or abhorrent in of itself, but the results tread close to the line of Black Magic; monks from the Ashram of Starlight follow the Way of Shadow and the Way of the Astral Self.

Worship

Worship in this sect is arduous and lengthy, forming long periods of ascetism and uninterrupted meditation for days on end. Much of this is done, unsurprisingly, under the light of the stars, but also in the darkness of caves or sealed rooms.

Granted Divine Powers

Only the most pious and most devout, the most determined and disciplined, begin to manifest any gifts from Sinti, The Guiding Star, The Lost Constellation, The Inky Night.   Those who worship her in her starry form begin to connect with their astral self - a representation of the soul we all have - and learns to project it beyond their own body, often taking the form of a being made of starlight.   Those who worship her in her inky black form, connecting to the darkness between the stars, begin to form a deeper understanding of darkness, and can use their ki to bend the darkness to their will.
