Arazni
Arazni survived earthfall with Aroden, traveled with him for many lifetimes, eventually dieing on their adventures before Aroden ascended to a god.
When Aroden left Golarion for the Great Beyond to establish his own divine domain, he sought our Arazni's soul to be his herald.
Arazni eventually was called down by mortal Iomedae, leader of the Knights of Ozem, to help them slay The Whispering Tyrant, Tar-Baphon. Instead, Tar-Baphon killed Arazni.
Her corpse was recovered and at the end of the crusader, interned in the Knights of Ozem's capital of Vigil in their new nation of Lastwall.
Her body did not remain there for very long, however, as it was stolen at the behest of the ghost-king Geb in retaliation for a failed assault on his kingdom by the Knights of Ozem. Geb himself transformed the assailants into graveknights and sent them to rampage through Vigil and steal her corpse, to be brought to his nation.
Geb took a year and a day to bring Arazni's soul back from the great beyond and corrupt her into a lich. He even turned her against her former allies, particularly Iomedae, her successor as Aroden's herald, who herself had been a paladin of Arazni before the death of the demigoddess. Geb propped her up as his Queen and delegated to her the responsibility of administration of his nation.
