Wire

Wires are visitors to The Hollow, in essence; they still live Outside and enter the Hollow only at their convenience. Some Wires spend almost all their time in the Hollow, while others visit only occasionally.
Since Wires must leave the Hollow to tend to their physical bodies, they typically find themselves at a disadvantage in employment and advancement when compared to Echoes, who can devote all of their time and resources to the Hollow. It is not uncommon for Wires to complain about this imbalance, but typically little action comes of it -- not only because most of those in power are Echoes, but also because all inhabitants of the Hollow become Echoes eventually.
Still, Wires are an important part of the Hollow's community, as they bring in news and information from Outside.
