Twili Spiritualists
Regret and mourning are simple emotions. Loss is simple. Getting through that grief, though? Now that is very, very complex.A loosely formed religious group among the Materianist Twili who see their people's curse as a way to assist those of the Materia Realm. As the spirits of those experiencing grief, loss, and sorrow in Materia are capable of manifesting in the Twilight Realm, these Spiritualists attempt to calm or comfort from across the planar division.
Cosmological Views
Twili Spiritualists see the world through a lens of interconnectedness. The Twilight Realm acts like a river from the Materia Realm to the Golden Realm. On either side are the Light Realm and the Dark Realm which pull on the souls shifting through the Twilight. Spiritualists attempt to comfort these souls back to the Materia Realm to keep them from succumbing to either extreme in their physical form, or guiding the souls of the dead to their final rest in the Golden Realm.
During this comforting and care, a dark, sinister force can sometimes be felt. This is the unmistakable attempt of Poes attempting to capture souls and keep them from recovering or making the journey across. A spirit manifested in the Twilight that is captured by a Poe is ripped from both realms, creating an empty, dark hole of disparity in the Twilight. From these holes, the unending wailing of the lost soul is heard.
