Vamphire Dominator

There are few species in Alwaus as old and powerful as the Alvain. The Kinderstärke are among the oldest and most prominent, but even they are a young race when compared to the long lives of some of the earliest of The Alvain. In truth, only the ancient Vamphire's can claim a history as long a storied as the Alvain - and their version of history is marked with even more blood, subterfuge, and cruelty than that of Alvantis.

A reclusive, introverted species, Vamphire's prefer to revel in the luxury and privacy of their lairs, instead using enthralled servants to do their bidding and ensure their thirst for life giving blood is fully satisfied. The acquistion and control of these enthralled servants is where the Vamphire Dominator differs from it's more warlike Vamphire Lord cousin - although a pair working together is enough would be enough to warrant direct intervention from the alvain. Dominators focus less on direct arcane mastery, and instead focus their unnatural power in the domination and control of lesser race's minds. Capable of reading the surface thoughts of an individual in passing, they can even dig their mind into another's to pull out their greatest fears, shames, and and regrets. While the strong willed may be able to break free of a dominator's mental grip in the short term, it is only a matter of time before a dominator is capable of breaking even the most fortressed of minds. Once broken, the person becomes a willing servant of the Vamphire Dominator and will give their own life to serve the dominator's smallest whim.
