While some join the constables in an effort to further their careers, Vladik is made from the rare stock that still believes justice has a place in this world. He sees morality as a clear case of black and white - and will not be wavered away from enforcement of Imperial law.

Despite working against a cesspool of deception and dishonour, Vladik is willfully blind to the machination and plots of those he would consider his peers or superiors. As such, he refuses to see corruption and greed within his own department.

One of the many constables assigned to The Port City of Rystanburg is Vladik, a middle aged Kaldari man with sunken eyes and a pronounced widow's peak. A veteran constable, Vladik has spent most of life in some form of the Kaldari Armed Forces - first as a patrolman and then as a constable in Rystanburg. While other constables have built reputations around fear and bribery - Vladik instead enforces the letter of the law with an even hand, which has earned him a reputation with the populace as a tough but fair constable.
Tall and lanky, his stature helps him land powerful strikes with the halbert he wields in his enforcement as a constable. He also keeps a small pistol strapped tightly to his belt, a gift given to him by the lord of Rystanburg himself as a reward for his role in solving a murder within the lord's own servants. Vladik holds himself tall and proud, the way only a soldier can - and despite his weathered face and sunken eyes he has a strength and vigor to him that catches many off guard.
One of the longest serving Constables in Rystanburg, Vladik has never recieved much in the way of accolates or promotion due to his tendacy to overlook the political aspects to his position, something Vladik would never openly admit to others.
A widowed father of two, his sons are currently in training to be Patrolmen in Rystanburg themselves, an accomplishment that Vladik holds with deep pride.

General Physical Condition
Tall and strong, despite the signs of age catching up to him. A lifetime of drill and patrol has left him with various pains and injuries however, and a wound he suffered from a farrow's spear a few years back still causes him pain from time to time.

a round but gaunt face with high cheekbones and a broken nose.

Typically adorned in the uniform of the Kaldari Armed Forces. Thick heavy fabric to protect agains the cold dressed over in protective but heavy chainmail. The comfort he displays in armour demonstrated just how much of his life he has spent in armour.
