Dye Beetle
Basic Information
Anatomy
The dye beetle is the typical shape and structure of a normal beetle but with noticeably thinker and extra layers of chitin. It has beautiful pure color on its chitin and its size varies depending on its age from a cannon ball to a house in size.
Biological Traits
Being a beetle it has hard chitin but thanks to mutations the beetle has grown bigger and stronger over the generations with the chitin giving rise to increase defense and strength to hold up the thicker chitin, this also applies to its wings, unfortunately it can't do sustained flying but quick bursts of speed, be careful because if frightened it can turn into a cannon ball or a flying house based on its age doing serious damage when trying to get away. Those hunting it avoid groups of dye bugs as if one is spooked they are all spooked.
Genetics and Reproduction
Its growth and reproduction mirror standard beetles.
Ecology and Habitats

Uses, Products & Exploitation
