Personal history
Nebula grew up in the time when the Zuru religion of self perfection has become the dominant way in modern society. He could see the tension rise between the old folk and youth but the words and inspiration of the perfect religion took hold giving him his inspiration to create new forms of life, but he has much to learn as culture, society is ever bit important as biology when wanting to create new life.Nebula took his studies seriously, learning as much as he could as well as crafts, but his main focus was the new form of learning magical manipulation given by the teachings of the Zuru religion. They taught not only biology but what it means to be perfect and how you should seek and find out that answer yourself.
During these classes is where he met his friend Ette, a genius but still a child, we spent a lot of time together and we shared similar goals for creation for new life. During this time both Ette and I wanted to expand our ability and knowledge by constantly requesting access to the meteorite core but it was denied to us with only priests being able to use it. Ette, frustrated, came up with a plan to take it for themselves and achieve what they wanted and stole the meteorite core. During the act Ette was discovered but still managed to make it off the island with the piece, this left our people without the meteorite core and Ette branded a criminal.
This gave a wave of zeal to the Iphelele people which led many to leave but each and every individual who left had their own reasons for doing so. The court gave a high reward for the return of the meteorite core and those Zuru religion started hunting down Ette and the stolen meteorite core, but soon expanded into finding any piece of meteorite to help expand the Iphelele’s power. Some left for their own reasons, to show off their own ability and skills, others to find their own meteorite core and use it for themselves.
Nebulas left, ignorant of the world but no reason to stay as he needed the meteorite core to achieve his own goals. He is secretly proud of his friend, grabbing life by the chest fluff but unable to tell anyone due to the zeal and his personal connection to his friend. Ette left Nebula a message of what happened and how he will get the meteorite core back at all cost.

NPC Friend: Ette
Appearance
Ette is a small young slender child of the Iphelele, they have a crazy anime style hair/moth fluff (up to dm’s choice). Their clothing is formal with a mimic stone around their neck that is still being formed due to not reaching adulthood yet. Being a child they like to move around a lot, pace back and forth and never sit down, but when they move it looks like a smooth, relaxed and efficient movement.
Burning Ambitions: Creationism, They want to make something new perfect animals/people/other
They have a similar goal to Nebules, perfection in the form of creating a new species of some kind or even an entire ecosystem if given the chance. That is how we became friends in the first place, Ette and Nebules shared countless ideas of inspiration on new life forms and how to create them. Ette is a genius, but they had a problem when it came to access with the meteorite core, the new religious order withheld access to Ette and refused to give them personal access to it for their own experiments. Ette was smart, so they came up with a plan to obtain the meteorite core for their personal use and they involved the elder council and used the bad tensions between them and the Zuru religion. Ette’s plan was stealing the meteorite core with the secret backing of the elder council who are old and their power waning, believed this would force the people to go back to the old way and abandon magic manipulation.
Ette managed to obtain the meteorite core but as they left was discovered by other members of the Zulu and ran while being tracked and hunted by them to retrieve the meteorite. Ette had made a deal with another moth person Manatrish who was a well known dealer to adventures and had ways to get off the island. Manatrish was oblivious at first, but as they docked on the mainland and Ette thought they got away they accidentally revealed the meteorite core to Manatrish who’s own ambitions flashed before their eyes attacking Ette and taking everything they owned. Ette was robbed of the meteorite, hunted by those who either wanted to retrieve the meteorite back to the Iphelele people or use it for their own desires. This failure stills haunts Ette and now they act with reckless suicidal behavior trying to re-obtain the meteorite. Ette left Nebula a message of what happened and how he will get the meteorite back at all cost.
Manatrish the douche and his idea for perfection is, Intelligence, Perfection is from the mind and the knowledge it comes with.

Mother Alta: Body Artist, Alta is a master artist creating beautiful works on both chitin and wings, when she works on a masterpiece she can be comeply zeoles and unthinking of anything but what she's working on, one such instant is her sons wings, a masterpiece design but she had to destroy their functionality in the process.
Father Floof: Dye maker, an artisan in creating pure dye from the dye beetles, as his name suggests the moth fluff on him is much bigger and floofy then on other moths. Due to his job it is stained with countless different dyes, Alta fell for him as it looks like a modern style art piece.
