Yára Norno Már

Founding

Owl-kin aren't originally from the Numirian Isle, they lost their history many moons ago, and so hold dear to the history they've collected throughout the generations. A group of settlers came to this land, set to find a home of their own, they discovered a husk of a tree so massive in size it could easily house generations more. Reminding them of their ancestry, the Owl-kin named this new home Yára Norno Már, meaning Old Oak Home in their forgotten tongue.

Infrastructure

Built into the husk of this giant ancient oak is a grand library containing a font of knowledge, from history to chemistry. The Owl-kin are experts in research and have dedicated generations to perfecting and expanding their library. Spanning over a hundred levels this library contains the knowledge of all the humanoid races over the last centuries. From books on the ever lasting wars to fiction work of novice writers, the library brings scribes from all over the globe.
