Ezra Bordweall

Ezra is the oldest of the crop of noble heirs and spares currently running around Miercna's social scene. Many talk of his terrible luck, going from five older siblings to none. Ezra generally responds with some variation on their sacrifice did at least teach me not to serve in the guards.
Ezra is a graduate of Bach Avon Wheesht. Most in Miercna were expecting him to go into civil service, join the Imperial army, or become a White Cloak. He has, instead, returned to Miercna for graduate study at the university in his home city.
He seems uninterested in relationships and does not appear to have any close friends, though he attends classes with Miriam Heafoc. The loss of all of his brothers in quick succession to violence and illness was a shock that has closed him off from others. Despite offers of rank and further titles, he has graciously turned down requests that he join the guard and instead has indicated that he will be, at least for now, living off of the funds left to him by his working brothers.
There are rumours that he's been seen in the Sea Ward once or twice, but he's assured anyone who asks him about it that he's taking care of his hobby project - a small sailing ship his oldest brother left him.
