Dead Suns S1E8

General Summary

1. Zanderbey was asked to pay the blood price by the Devourer.
2. Julakesh almost dies, but escapes around the corner.
3. Tyrfing covers their retreat as the group climb into the starship.
4. Garaggakal simply flies past Tyrfing. Hebiza shoots its wings a little, it lands next to her. Julakesh is nearby.
5. Everyone steps into starship. Tyrfing dashes past, takes an Atk of Opp crit and claws rake down his spine. Zanderbey welds the door shut, and everyone has a chance to apply medical care (but not rest).
6. Brief respite. Shadowfox hears garaggakal flying over the top of the starship.
7. PCs move carefully over to other side, door starts to open. Hebiza rushes forward, briefly powering up the ship to lock the door.
8. Garaggakal begins to force door open. Tyrfing tries (and fails) to hold them shut.
9. Tyrfing is almost grabbed by the creature, but he evades it just in time for Hebiza to switch the ship's power on. The doors activate, then shut and lock. They leave Shadowfox (with his active camo) to watch for intruders.
10. They quickly search out the rest of the ship, while Hebiza moves up to the foremost room. She starts warming up the engines. Julakesh tries to help, but can't find the Veskit translation option (because the Veskarium didn't make contact until later).
11. Shadowfox doesn't see the garaggakal phase shift through the hull of the starship. It guts him with a powerful uppercut just as Tyrfing opens the door.
12. Tyrfing shouts out a warning, which Julakesh hears. They get ready to attack it when it emerges.
13. The garaggakal knows they are outside, but phase shifts through a wall to hit Julakesh from an unexpected angle.
14. After sucking life force from Julakesh, the garaggakal
