Festival of drums

Execution

The families will come to the bitter rocks and set up parted camps with bonfires at the ceter of every camp. One pile will be burning in the middle ignaling time of peace. When that burns out all families have to leave. Drums are set up on platforms for maximizing the sound effects and then all begins. Frenzy of naked bodies, mating fighting, eating and dance. Death is uncomon, but never from combat.

Components and tools

Mushrooms, drums, bonfires, pinecones with aded metals for coloured flames and sometimes buckets of blood.

Participants

Every family and caravan comes to light their own fire and keep it going till morning when they decide on new leaders. Mock battles are done within elders of every family. The leaders will meet once in the morning to discuss the strategy for the following years. If there's any dispute the cooperation is scrapped beforehand. Due to old grievances it is almost customary to walk away in the morning, but the presence of every leader is still demanded.

Observance

The festival can be observed once every sixty or so years, but only in secret since any tresspassers will be killed on site and nodies burned on bonfires.The drums can be heard from inside the rock formation only due to its special acoustic properties.
