Southern Tribes band together against the emperor, General Wo Can's army routs the southern tribes.

The battle of Infinite Darkness, at the mouth of Fenghsintsu. Combined leadership of the southern tribes under mystic witch doctors challenges the forces of General Wo Can who fights for the emperor. The entire battle is fought under the cover of darkness spells, and legends say that the mystic witch doctors summoned fell and dangerous beasts from the other side of the world to aid them. In the end, Wo Can's army routed the southern tribes where they flee south into the mountains. The great southern scholar Po Nih dies in this battle, struck by a spear as he was writing a report to send to the main temple of Durkon.
