The omniscient "Father of Fortune" has no clear motives for who receives his blessing, and who is left to squalor. Those who do find themselves blessed with the oracular powers find themselves at a cross roads, accept the will of Dovanumir and seek out their fate, or test their free will against the Father of Fortune. Dovanumir draws his power from the stars that sit affixed in the night sky, infusing the images mortals have drawn in them with celestial power, he transforms their belief into reality.
Culture
Dovanumir is the Cosmo of Fate, also known as the Father of Fortune. Depending on what area one finds themselves, Dovanumir can be anything from a generous saint who showers those he loves with blessing or a cruel master who acts with no rhyme or reason. One thing is true, and that Dovanumir and many of his followers enforce the natural order of cycles within the Reach. Though some try to cheat death, many more try to cheat fate in the lands of the Reach and in doing so they make an enemy out of Dovanumir.
Religious Theology
People from all across the Reach flock to Dovanumir for guidance when faced with a world that seems to be ruled by chaos. The need to bring order to chaos is what drives children of Dovanumir to serve him, but these acts of service are not merely reserved for champions and heroes but even for the lowly lighthouse worker who seeks to bring a light into the storm and reach out a hand of fate into the storms of chaos that brew in the Reach.
Devas
Father of Fortune - Dovanumir is most well known by his dominion over fate, playing an inescapable role in the lives of any being that walks the Reach. Imagined as a blind man attempting to cull the chaos of the Reach, many people do not feel inclined to follow what they believe their fate may be.
Cosmic Keeper - Long before history was being recorded, the inhabitant of the Reach looked up into the stars that Dovanumir drew his power from and in them they made their own meaning. Since that time he has been the keepers of the stars, ensuring that each of the imagined meanings assigned to constellations would be brought to manifest in some way in the Reach.
