Daring Academy

A tall house sprung up rapidly on a quiet side street of Stoneside Daring Heights near the end of the Giant War in K'ul Goran.  With so many mysteries abounding in Kantas, from the unstable planar nature of the continent to the country-encompassing flaming sigil in K'ul Goran, the time had finally come for Aurelia Archselon to assemble a proper team of researchers to delve into these strange phenomena.
Daring Academy (keeping the brand strong alongside Fort Daring) is housed in a 5 storey, squat building created by Aurelia's magic. Unassuming from the outside beyond its oddly smooth brickwork, looking a little too regular to be real, the inside reveals a still fairly unassuming lounge area.
The ground floor of the building boasts a large lounge with bookshelves gradually filling with books and scrolls, with a variety of armchairs, stools, desks and couches for reading dotted around the room. There are always a few people studying here, often with a small sandwich or other sustenance gained from the kitchen in the back of the building - communal, as both the magical and mundane members of the Academy are expected to know how to prepare at least some form of food.
The upper floors of the building are divided out into large sections for research on a variety of subjects, complex laboratories or just large spaces for experimentation, with some small offices for those that need privacy. The Academy has less than 20 members, and so they generally have more than enough space for their needs - especially as some are usually away on some field excursion and Aurelia herself has her Council and Portal duties.
Their research is progressing rapidly, but with so much to learn, who knows what discoveries will be unearthed by the Daring Academy.
