Girelle Veluss

When the The Council of Nine decided they needed to start formal relations between the Dawnlands and K'ul Goran, Aurelia Archselon turned to an old acquaintance for help. She had met Girelle years ago and seen his incredible negotiation skills first hand.
Girelle is a gregarious half-elf with florid tastes, shoulder length blonde hair and an excellent memory for names and faces. He was initially hired as a trade ambassador, establishing goodwill and laying the groundwork for long-term trade agreements between the two regions. Set up in the Ambassadorial Quarter of Zot Goran, he began to make contacts throughout the mercantile and political spheres. He had the idea of marketing the adventures of the Dawnlands as a resource, and so hired them for several ventures for the benefit of the country.
As the Giant War built up, these ventures became more frequent and more directly tied to the military efforts of K'ul Goran. As their activities became more political, Girelle's role transitioned into a more political posting, and he became the formal Ambassador of the Dawnlands to K'ul Goran.
During the Vanguard's spike in activity, he became heavily involved in investigating their identities, and as a result was captured and replaced for several days by a fiendish impersonator. Following his rescue he became a little more subdued and cautious, but continued his work against the Vanguard.
