Imperial Common

Imperial Common is the old tongue of the Empire that once held Khersos; as such, it is taught across the isles, and its influence has trickled down to the native tongues that have evolved since. Imperial Common is used as a lingua franca and has a clear, strict formal form along with many regional dialects.
Imperial Common is a common first-language in many countries as well; however, modernized Imperial Common is not the same as true Imperial Common, which takes much time to read even if you are trained, thanks to dialectal differences along with relevant idioms that are no longer timely.
