Forest Infection
Causes
Spores enter open wounds that then cause the infection to spread.
Symptoms
Skin turns to a green color as the infection spreads, also causing numbness and loss of feeling in affected areas. If the spread of the fugus is not treated, carriers are known to pass away when spores reach the brain.
Treatment
Burning the affected skin and applying ointments is the only known treatment for the infection.
Hosts & Carriers
All races that populate the Isles are known to be susceptible to forest infection, animals seem to be unaffected.
History
The origin of the infection and the first carrier are unknown, however the infection is only known to run rampid in The Forest region.
