Gimbley Yawnis is a well respected dwarven political figure and also a Master Runesmith of the Runesmith’s Guild. The old dwarf has great influence over the happenings in Odum due to his close friendship with Olof Braddenglenn, who he grew up with.
Gimbley is somewhat power hungry and loves the idea of being a piece of history in The Mountainside region, to achieve this he decided that his first goal would be to ascend to the top of the Runesmith Guild and obtain a position in the council, to do this he would be required to become a Grandmaster Runesmith.
