The Event (6227)
The city of
Eldenham had never had a larger event than the 17th name day of
Iyanna Gaulden. Noble lords and ladies from all over the realm travelled to attend the day of celebration, which went from sun up till sun down.
The day began with a general ball and exchange of conversation, after the marriage and death of
Martha Titus,
Iyanna Gaulden was considered the most desirable bachelorette in the land. Many young lords such as
Daniel Carson,
Chase Vanguard and
Jon Dane, sat with her in an attempt to gain her affection, however she showed interest in none.
Shortly after the customary jousting tournament was held.
Taurus Vanguard,
Markus Porter,
Garson Titus and
Taqi al-Din Cliff were among the final four who competed. Cliff dehorsed Porter and Vanguard dealt with Garson. In the final Cliff dehorsed Taurus and then gave a rose to his partner
Tahlia Crowns.
The gift giving ceremony commenced after the jousting tournament, all the young unbound lords gathered around to try and impress the beautiful princess with their gifts. Gold, Silver, Gemstones and all sorts of materialistic items were laid before Iyanna, until a mysterious man approached her and she received
Mormo. When the gifts began to slow and the segment began to wrap up, a large carriage made its way down the street, extremely unique, made out of all sorts of exotic material. A man walked down the steps and towards Iyanna, telling her that he was
Akis Tides and had travelled from the far shores of
Maronja to attend her event. His gift was the last she received that day, a small wine goblet. He claimed that the goblet was purchased from the distant city of
Oppidum Exspiravit and those that drink from it will retain their youthful appearance till the day they die.
